FAQs

How do I know if my child is a good fit for this tutoring?

Your child is likely a good fit if they are in grades 4–8, are capable of understanding math, but struggle to keep up, stay focused, or retain concepts. This is especially helpful for students with ADHD or autism who need personalized instruction.

  • Bright but frustrated with math

  • Struggles with focus, memory, or organization

  • Falling behind or at risk of falling behind

  • Needs lessons adapted to how they learn

Do you work with students who have ADHD or autism?

Yes.

Sessions are designed specifically for students with ADHD and autism, with flexible pacing and teaching methods that match how they learn best.

  • Lessons are adjusted in real time based on understanding

  • Built-in 3–5 minute brain breaks to manage frustration

  • Clear structure with predictable routines

  • Visual, interactive, and discussion-based learning

What tutoring options do you offer and how much do they cost?

There are three monthly plans depending on how much support your child needs.

  • Maintenance Plan — $200/month

    • 30 minutes per week

    • Best for light review and skill retention

  • Signature Coaching — $400/month

    • 1 hour per week

    • Includes assessment

    • Best for students starting to fall behind

  • Intensive Coaching — $750/month

    • Two 1-hour sessions per week

    • Includes assessment

    • Best for catching up and closing major gaps

How long does it take to see improvement in math?

Most students begin to show noticeable improvement within 4–8 weeks, depending on attendance, effort, and starting level.

  • Small wins often appear within the first few sessions

  • Confidence usually improves before grades do

  • Consistency is the biggest factor in progress

  • Larger gaps take longer to close

What if my child doesn’t listen or resists tutoring?

Resistance is common, especially for students who feel frustrated with math.

Sessions are designed to reduce that stress and build cooperation over time.

  • Use of short tasks and frequent wins

  • Built-in breaks to prevent overload

  • Flexible teaching approach based on engagement

  • Focus on building trust and confidence first

How do you keep students engaged during online sessions?

Sessions are interactive and designed to match shorter attention spans.

  • Mix of games, discussion, and practice

  • Frequent check-ins for understanding

  • Visual and hands-on problem solving

  • 3-5 minute brain breaks when needed

How is this different from other tutoring programs?

This tutoring is highly individualized and designed specifically for neurodivergent learners.

  • Personalized lesson plans (not one-size-fits-all)

  • Teaching style adapts to the student

  • Focus on understanding, not memorization

  • Experience with ADHD, autism, and special education

Do you offer tutoring outside my area?

Yes. All sessions are online, so students can join from anywhere.

  • No commute required

  • Consistent experience regardless of location

  • Works across time zones (schedule dependent)
